Yin Xiaohong

Profile

Yin Xiaohong, female, member of the Henan People's Association, member of the Xinyang Citizens' Association, inheritor of Xinyang Intangible Cultural Heritage Paper Cutting. With decades of study, she has created simple, elegant, and artistic paper-cutting works such as "Hundred Blessings," "Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, and Chrysanthemum," "Beyond the Four Seasons," and the "Flowers and Birds Series." Among these, the "Twelve Zodiac Signs" paper-cutting is presented to everyone with cute and lovely elements.

Participated in numerous activities including the Qingming Festival Shangheyuan Cultural Exhibition, the Hangzhou Folk Culture Exhibition, and Xinyang's first Intangible Cultural Heritage Paper Cutting and Leaf Carving Study Class.

In January 2017, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, during the Spring Festival Gala of Hundred Flowers organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, assisted teachers in completing the task of decorating the Lucky Chicken paper-cutting measuring 7500 * 8500.

Received first prize in the 70th Anniversary Original Paper Cutting Exhibition and Hundred Blessings event held by the Xinyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism.

Has taught paper-cutting skills multiple times at locations such as Jinniushan Cultural Park and Haotang, and has promoted the colorful art of intangible cultural heritage paper cutting to communities and schools.
